Grumbere Pfaunkucken

Or also called Kartoffekpfannkuchen, Kartoffelpuffer or
Kartoffel Reibeplaezchen 
(potato pancakes to you)

Grate 3 cups of potatoes that have been soaked one hour in very cold water. Add 2 beaten eggs, 1 ¾ teaspoons salt, a pinch of baking powder and 1 tablespoon of onion juice. Blend and drop from spoon on very hot griddle. When bubbly, turn and brown on other side
