Creamy Strawberry Squares
Simply Scrumptious by Shirley Williamson Haner

This great strawberry recipe is submitted by Shirley Williamson Haner. She has been collecting strawberry items for years…even the stationary that she sent the recipe on is covered with strawberries! This recipe should prepare you for the season for berry picking coming up soon.

1st Layer:
Graham cracker or vanilla wafer crust (3 cups crushed crackers)
4 table spoons sugar
2/3 cup melted margarine
Mix above in a bowl. Press into 9X13 pan. Bake at 300 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cool.

2nd Layer:
2 packages (16oz) crème cheese
¼ tablespoon sugar
¼ cup milk
Warm in microwave and blend until smooth. Spread over crust.

3rd Layer:
2 packages (4 serving size each) of vanilla or lemon pie pudding Make according to box directions.
Spread on cream cheese layer.
Spread 1 tub (8oz) cool whip strawberry topping on pudding layer.
Cool and serve. Can be cut to serve 15 to 18.
