Two old Pennsylvania Dutch Recipes
Still good recipes try them

Rainbow Salad

Congeal 3 pkgs. Of different color jello separately.  After it is solid cut each in ½ inch squares.  Mix with cottage cheese as desired.  Add pineapple or other small cut up fruits. What ever you have or like.


Grandma’s Donuts

5 large potatoes, mashed
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
5 teaspoons butter
1 cup sweet milk
3 eggs well beaten
Add all ingredients to mashed potatoes then beat in 5 cups flour and 5 level teaspoons of baking powder, 2 teaspoons nutmeg.  Roll out and fry.  Then roll in powdered sugar.
