Wally’s Rhubarb Pudding

(winning dessert at the 2005 Penn colony picnic)

4 cups chopped rhubarb
1 ½ cups sugar
3 oz. Package strawberry jello
1 yellow cake mix
1 cup water
½ cup melted butter
Place rhubarb in buttered 9X13 pan.
Sprinkle sugar over the rhubarb, then sprinkle the jello, then sprinkle the cake mix.
Pour water over the top and the melted butter.
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degree oven
